Air Conditioning - Floor Mounted
Floor mounted air conditioning units fall into two categories, the conventional low level floor mount and the larger ‘console’ type unit.
They have all the benefits and features of the other split system applications however they have particular benefits over high wall systems.
- the console provides a high output when wall or ceiling space is restricted
- consoles are suited to glazed areas such as car showrooms
- the low level floors are aesthetically pleasing - suitable to domestic applications
- floor mounts can be installed on to conservatory ‘dwarf walls’
- they can also be installed under windows reducing the ‘thermal bridge’
